Well, here we go - week 2. Seems like this week was about Dogs! We decided to help foster a couple of dogs in need for a few days, and with our other "babies" that meant that there was always a dog needing something! I took lots of pix this week as usual with the old cell phone - here are a few fun ones to share:

This was how I had to set up the camera for my Pic-A-Week picture on my other blog.

Week 1 and 2 (since I was late to get this started)

In a conversation with my Dad today I realized that as a side project to my Pic-A-Week blog I should do something with some of the photo's I shoot with my cell phone each week. It might actually be easier as I carry it all the time and use it to shoot pictures constantly. In fact, in making the annual calendar for my Wife and my Mom last year, I realized that 90% of the images for the calendar came from my cell phone vs. my nice "real" camera.

So here goes - lets see how this turns out.

For my first picture, I shot this and posted it on Fox4's website. Here is a link to the article where Fox4 asked the following question, "Faced with a fresh slate, if you could sum up in just one word what you hope to be in 2012, what word would you choose"?

And lastly - I had to get a new badge at work. I was glad to replace this picture, but I wanted to preserve it to remind me that I've come a long way on my weight loss journey. The new picture looks better:

Well, you might or might not find any of this interesting, but I look forward to looking back as the year progresses to see what we did and what we accomplished. As my first picture shows, I plan to accomplish things this year.

Happy new year and I will post more next week!
